Off towards the north. We took a bus about 5hrs. to the Kompong Cham Province. We wanted to stay one night in Kompong Cham. This sleepy little town mills about the Mekong quietly and dosen't seem to be in a hurry for anything. There was a couple of things that were worthing stopping for. I wanted to see a bamboo bridge that is built fresh each year. The locals compete each year for the honour of constructng it. Plus collecting the $1.00 it cost to cross it. The bridge is destroyed as the rains come each year. There is also a 10th century Pagoda complex that looks very interesting.
