I know everybody wants pictures. Well I'll tell you. It is about 100 degrees inside this internet cafe and it is so slow! I can only load 5 picture at a time and takes about 25min. So please bear with me! I've just had a great experience. The family that I'm staying with invited me to celabrate the New Year with his family.I gave offerings to Budah and prayed for the happiness and well being of our family and friends. We then burned in a big metal bowl stips of cloth and fake paper money from all over the world. One hundred dollor bills, fake money from Thailand, Chinese money and some money from I don't know where. This all goes to the spirits that have passed before us. We then all sat around sharing the food that his wife prepared for us. Not very much talking just lots of smiles and many thanks. I don't want to be rude so I try to eat what I can! Before you can take a drink, you must cheer everyone. I just wanted to wash down whatever I was eating. So after every bite I would stand up to cheer everyone so that could drink! Mr.Con went next door to invite his French nieghbors over and by the time I could stumble out of there we must of had about 15 people. I will write more soon. Thanks for all the questions... I will try to ansew all. Love, Derek
