We drive through quaint St. Helena and then Napa, get on 80 and cross our fingers hoping to get through the traffic in one piece and make it into the Bay Area before noon. We are blessed with good luck and breeze through in no time at all, surprising Javier by arriving at 11. He has classes all day tomorrow, so we will wait until Saturday morning to take the trip to Santa Barbara to spend a few days with Irina. Life is good.
