older than time, glimpsing sparkling rivers through the trees and
suddenly coming upon the lake, which is very long and narrow. Clear
water, clear air, lots of space, friendly towns. Then on through Eureka and towards Whitefish, where we hope to find a nice campground.
Something that has caught my eye in these parts are the small, free-standing espresso shops, little cabins that offer great coffee at a drive-through window. They're everywhere and very uniquely decorated. Haven't seen them elsewhere, yet.
Hidden in the trees after miles of gravel roads, we come upon this beautiful spot on Tally Lake, just west of Whitefish. Victor went swimming, we took a short walk around the area, decided to turn in
early and head for Glacier National Park in the morning. As we drive through the town of Whitefish, we see many trendy cafés and shops. Quick stop at the library to check email. Truck's sounding funny, heating up...
