Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming

Went canoeing yesterday on Jackson Lake, stupidly got sunburned but thoroughly enjoyed picnic on the beach on the north shore of the island. Celebrated my 50th birthday - hurray! Left the Tetons today early in the morning (well not really early at all, lots of hugging the boys good-bye) and headed north. Drove slowly through Yellowstone National Park, lots of road construction delays. Saw some buffalo and elk, were awed by the scenery. Exited through north gate for the first time, loved Gardiner and the drive north through Montana. Will spend the weekend near Glacier National Park.

glad you guys are having fun-- do you guys miss the squids? The squids miss you. Ok back to the ocean to fill the water tanks... love ya'll... :)
