Finally- a few photos of Jeff as he continues to work on his mobility at Project Walk.  He has been there for 7 weeks with 10 more weeks to go, and is pleased with the progress he is making.  He was doing 1 legged squats yesterday! Tiffany assures me that the still photos do not do justice to the work being done!  I hope to get some videos when I go down to visit them in May.

In the first picture he is able to sit up on his own without using his hands
(from resting on his behind).  The trainer is not supporting him, but is providing resistance on his shoulders.

In the second photo you can see the progress made on his feet- they are standing flat instead of turned in.  They had to be tied to soft blocks before, but now are not tied to anything.  This is a HUGE step forward (pardon the pun!)

In the third photo, he is standing on his own- this amazes me when I think of where he started from -immobile and trapped in a wheelchair, needing assistance to move out of the chair just to perform daily tasks that you and I take for granted.

The last photo shows him with 2 of his trainers- amazing people who are so dedicated to helping people improve their lives and gain some use of their limbs.

Again, thanks to the many donors who made this possible.  Jeff is determined to be mobile by the time he leaves in mid-May, and if persistent effort dictates that result, he will do it.
