I was just attacked by the worlds largest beetle! I am now sitting in
the trailer recovering while Derek finishes dinner. This comes during
the culmination of a day with both highs (eating awesome local BBQ for
lunch) and some lows (our visit to the 6th Floor Museum was certainly
worth it but a bit overwhelming). We haven't had much of a bug problem
and really there still aren't many out however this beetle apparently
has a fondness for Santa Cruz sweatshirts or perhaps zucchini.
Obviously it won the battle as I have retreated to higher ground. We
will update later about the day and the sites we've seen if I can
recover from my Texas sized beetle attack.

Yuck! Courage, intrepid traveller. Bugs are part of it all. BTW how do you upload photos to your site? Are you using your laptop? Does travel pod do it all or are you using travel wow or anything like that?
