Depending on how well you're enjoying this blog, you may say words fail me quite often. The pictures rarely do, however.
This is a case where they both do. I am convinced I cannot show or explain the beauty of this place. We traveled the headlands of Cape Breton, on the Cabot Trail (every road around here is a "Trail", some sort of scenic tourist road) above Cheticamp. The perfect panorama, the sky and sea and highlands and valleys open all around you and we had the perfect sunny day to take it all in. Enjoy.
Also, notice the roadside fox. Similar to the roadside dear, bear, and fox in Yellowstone, it has a Pavlovian response to passing cars.
More rain tomorrow,
D&J
