We had a long drive today. We drove all the way from Annecy to Nice. It is around 6 hours drive because of the traffic.

Before arriving in Nice, we decided to stop in Monaco for lunch. I have to say, Monaco is one of the most challenging places in which I have ever driven. The streets are very narrow, there are little streets coming from everywhere, the drivers have a big ego and they drive accordingly, and most importantly if you crash you have to pay for a Bugatti or a Ferrari.

We walked around Monaco for couple of hours. It is a beautiful city. However, it looks a bit messy at the moment because of all the preparations for the Grand Prix. Maybe that would explain traffic too.

A curious thing is that we saw the MS Turanor PlanetSolar catamaran finish its around the world trip. We didn't plan to be there for its arrival. We just happened to be there. This is the same catamaran that I saw in Brisbane months before in the Brisbane river. It is impressive how things happen.

We arrived in Nice after another half an hour of drive from Monaco because of the traffic. It should be 15 minutes.

Nice is another beautiful city with nice little streets. We walked around the city for a while before having dinner. The walk along the broad walk is a must. It is just full of life with people in bikes, roller blades, running, walking, sunbathing, etc.

For dinner we chose one of the many restaurants in the old town. It is very touristic and there are lot of people harassing you to eat at their restaurant. After a while we chose one and it was ok. Nothing extraordinary but it was k. I will recommend having dinner in other places which are for locals and not tourists.
