We started our day a bit late. We decide to take it easy and sleep over. The hotel, hotel del Porto, offered free breakfast which in my opinion was quite bad (compared with other places). I guess it has he basics, but nothing really extraordinary.
The first stop was the medieval museum. This museum had a collection of books, weapons, sarcophagus, foreign object, etc. mainly from the 14th and 15th century. In my opinion the highlight was the armory isle of he museum. They have an impressive collection of medieval armories, swords, guns, etc. in summary everything that can kill during that age.
From there we went to the markets close to Piazza Maggiore. The market in my opinion is the most perfect market in which I've been so far. Everything had a purpose, everything was fresh and tasty. There was olive oil of any type, balsamic vinegar with different aging, any cheese that you can imagine and more, any type of salami, mortadella, Serrano, pancetta, etc.
We got some bread, mortadella and salami, went to the Piazza Maggiore and had our lunch in the esplanade. Yum!
From there we just walk around the city. We went to Piazza S. Domenico, Via M. De Azeglio, etc.
From our long walk we just went back to the hotel, pick up our luggage and went to the train station on the way to Venezia.!?.
