We arrived at Lawn Hill Natinal Park and set up in the Red Dirt/Sand, and jumped in the water. We went to the spot as it was recommended by Uncle Mike (thanks Mike), it was fantastic!. We Canoed up the Gorge, the photos speak for themselves. We met another family travelling Aus, from Geelong! Andrew, Sandy and their boys, Brady 4 and Harley 2. We decided to go in convoy and attempt part of the Savanah way which we were told as still impassable due to flooding, water on the roads and bogging. We have recovery gear and were keen to give it a go. So we set out and had to detour to Camooweal, stocked up on fuel, booze and food!
