This will be the beginning of our trans-coastal road trip. We'll depart from Auburn, Maine at about 8:30 or 9 in the morning, and we're hoping to be able to make it to Virginia by about eleven at night. A hell of a day of driving, but we're pretty sure that Joey (our trusty steed) will be up to the task. With any luck, Mel and I will also be up to the task: a twelve to fifteen-hour day on the road is nobody's idea of a great time, but we can probably do it.
