The monkey girls made a quick hop from Lisbon to Madrid to continue on to their next stop, Toledo.
They stayed within the city walls in a restored seventeenth-century monastery, the Hostal del Cardenal. The girls also learned what the monastery was best-known for - Toledo's finest signature food, roast suckling pig, which the girls were so anxious to line up for.
After dinner, the girls went out for some sightseeing along the town's old cobblestone alleyways and lanes before coming to the end of their jet-lagged handicapped stamina.
