We took our flights to Delhi and then Dehradun. Uneventful, except that one has to bear in mind, if you have a largish Camera bag, it cannot be stowed in the overhead compartment in the small aircraft to Dehradun. We were lucky to find one empty seat, where the bag could be placed. Dunno what we would have done had the flight run full house.
At Dehradun, we met the drivers we had be assigned for the next 10 days.
Then on it was NH 58 and the winding roads through breathtaking mountains and flowing rivers to each of our destinations.
The first of which was only intended to be a break journey and we stopped the night at a place called Srikot.
