Started out early this morning with our usual routine of cappuccinos on the balcony and watching a few wispy clouds float by. We did have a little excitment first thing this am........with Lucas trying to erradicate a wasp nest in the inner courtyard !!! That's him looking more like an Imperial Storm Trooper from the Star Wars movies.........
Lucky for him......he didn't get stung !!
Lucas used a "10 foot pole" and knocked out the wasp nest. They were angry little buggers and started to swarm !
Just after 9:00 am Ross , Renda & I headed to the Saturday morning market, held in the former Big Wave Dave's location (remember Dave has left SJdS) This is a popular spot on Sat morning where most of the town's expats gather to catch up on the latest story........and one of the few places where you can have a cold beer for breakfast......and nobody cares!
It is also a great place to buy fresh baked goods and produce! Look what I bought this morning for under $ 2.00 !......................
All locally grown, and you can't imagine how good that loaf of bread smells!! It was still warm when I bought it :-)
Just look at all these smiling faces...............who wouldn't want to be here ?
There's me.......still can't stop smiling ! Into phase 2 of "operation dental makeover"!!
Not sure what we have planned for the rest of today..................perhaps a little siesta, then down to the beach for happy hour !!
I'm really trying to do a small blog entry every couple days or so please check in again soon.I'll leave you with a few shots of last nights spectacular sunset........AND a couple of daredevils parasailing (motorized) over the bay in San Juan!!
I have no idea where these paragliders came from. I was taking a few shots of the sunset, when I saw two of these things come over the hill. They made a few passes over the beach and both very gently set them selves down on the north end of the beach. It's the first time we had seen this in SJdS.............

Certainly looks like you are really living the 'Life of Riley' down there in SJDS! Really wish I could be there with you - *sniff* - seriously gonna think about it for next year though. Yes, I said Seriously! Do I mean it? Time will tell! Miss you.
Yep, you got that right sis!! It's easy to get used to this lifestyle :-) Still can't believe it's the "rainy season"...............it is really nice this time of year. I miss you too..........wish you were here !
