The town of SJDS is always a hubbub of activity and today is no exception. It is of course Superbowl Sunday.I believe every bar, restaurant, hotel etc has a party planned, and this town is where all the action is.A few months ago Ross and I saw some info online about the Superbowl at Big Wave Dave's,so I am pretty sure that's where we will be headed around 5:30 today . Big Wave Dave's attracts a variety of patrons from around the globe. The food is cheap, and plentyful, and it's an ex-pats favorite "go to" bar.I will come back after the game for my evening update, but until then do check out this picture. If you look closely at the rock formation on the right side of the bay you will see the very distinct profile of a man's face.He is some kind of Chief, and he is there to protect the harbor,on the other side is his brother, but I have to venture into town to get a better photo of him. What do you think ?........................

Is there no escaping American Football??? Gah!
Well you know, I am not so much a fan of the football, as I am of the WHO!!!.That's right, in case you did not know they are playing the half time show! Seriously Marla Ross is huge WHO fan, so there you have it!
Well, The Who are performing right now, so I thought I would check in with you and Ross...I'm still jealous that you are in the warm and we're all up in the rain...ahh well, take THAT, Olympics!
You're so lucky you're missing all of these road closures, etc....the torch comes through my area tonight and tomorrow...so I wonder if I will make it to work! Anyway, enjoy your sunshine and Superbowl:)
Yup, I just did a quick video of the WHO performing. We were watching the game from BWD'S,and have just come back to our room to watch the second half.Don't miss the cold and rain, but sure miss you guys! Good luck with all the Olympic stuff!!
XO
Ok Vash, Trina and I "tried", valiantly I might add, to watch Dinosaurus Rockosaurus Oldagey-osus-Roger and friends perform at half time....Horrible horrible horrible.... Someone needs to get the nets out, snag these old fogies, and hustle them back to the Ole Folks Home, like pronto.. That was BADDDDDD!!!
Well yes they are somewhat 'long in the tooth",however R and i will continue to be supporters of the oldly and moldy!
Does this mean I should NOT post my 5 minute hommage to the WHO on this blog??
Worship the Who!? Of course you should! Knock yourself out, sista!!! And I will continue to inhabit my little fantasy world! hehehehehe.
