Woke up  quite early this morning thanks to our resident rooster! Definately worth getting up though.Sun is shining and it's probably already 28 degrees.Just made a pot of coffee, and are headed down to the beach. Here are a few pix of our 1 bedroom suite. It's called the Melrose and it is on the second floor facing the pacific ocean. There are only 10 units here,so it's a small community with a 24 hour watchman on the door.So it is very safe and secure(family disclaimer)
Too much to see, gotta go!................
So now it's almost 5:00 pm and we just came back from Pali, which is a supermarket a couple blocks out of town.It a good size with lots of selection. Great fresh meat and produce sections too.We managed to purchase a weeks worth of food including a 26 er of Flora Canna Rum, 2 flats (24) Tona beer, and 2 boxes of wine, total bill $80.00 U.S. Seriously it is so cheap to live here. Most Americans and Canadians we have met so far that own property here say for an average of about $1000.00 per month, you can live very comfortably,so we see now why Nicaragua is so attractive to so many. It is almost "happy hour" so will sign off til tomorrow...........
