Day 3 of the trek and yet another early start. Was frigging cold last night! Rough sleep indeed and a bit of a sore head after the night befores over indulgence but nothing a little nurofen couldnt help tho! We woke at around 5 am to the sound of heavy rain which turned out to be snow! Such an awesome sight to wake up to. The whole valley was white. Breakfast was had and we hit the road again the rain and snow cleared off as we departed. This part of the trek being 95 percent downhill to Patakancha town for our bus back to
Ollantaytambo. Quiet a relaxing trip down the valley more children were seen as we decended. More fantastic scenery as we went. The trek thoroughly enjoyed by all. So peaceful and private from start to finish having not encountering any other people other than locals for the second 2 days. The bus trip back to
Ollantaytambo was short having lunch on the way and then back to a restaurant we went to 4 days earlier for beers, cards and chilling out before we caught a train up to machupicchu town.
