In the morning, we had limited time to explore Vienna on our own before departing to Hungary. Cam, Zoran, Tom, Lindsay, Alicia and myself decided to check out the museum in the palace which included displays of items such as silverware, plates, table setting etc, and a layout of the royal apartments complete with fake people statues. We then wandered around, until we found a cafe where I could test out the famed Viennese coffee and Sachertorte (chocolate cake). Take my advice and do not accept a dare to finish off an entire giant piece of cake as lunch. We wandered further until it was time to meet the bus.

Upon arrival in Budapest, we got to the hotel with instructions to get all gussied up for the group photo. Once ready, we piled back on the bus and headed to Heroes square for the group shot. We then had a bus tour which included heading up into the hills of Buda (Buda and Pest are actually separate- Buda is the side with the views while Pest is the crowded, dirty city below. The river separates the two). Anyways, from the hill we saw some of the most incredible views of the city beyond the Danube river. We had some time up on castle hill to wander and take more great photos before our dinner river cruise.

The cruise was a fantastic Hungarian meal with unlimited wine. Lets just say we drank as much as we could before getting off the boat and heading to Club Rio- an awesome open air bar where we partied the night away. And i literally mean away- after Rio, we headed next door to another bar, where a few of us stayed until the sky began to get light again- a first for me! (Bars aren't open that late here in Canada!).
