More boats to Koh Tao where we spent 2 days doing our advanced open water qualification. We did 3 dives on the first day including a scary night dive and then 2 dives on the second day including a wreck dive. Passed with flying colours although still suffering from motion sickness after some very turbulent seas and challenging dives.
Discovered I am the worst person at jumping off boats in dive gear. The Thai boat man had to hold on to me and do a count down for me. Hopefully I will improve with time!

Got my first 9 hour night ferry from Koh Tao to Surat Thani. It was a very bumpy journey - especially on top of the motion sickness from diving but it was a good experience.
Arrived at 5am in Surat Thani and then took a 9 hour bus to Sungai Golok - the Malaysian border.

1 more bus later and we finally arrived, tired and hungry in Kota Bharu - our stop for the night before heading to the Perhentians.
