I got a little excited when we were planning this trip – driving for about 1.5hours from Prague and we are on the German border! From Adelaide I can get to Goolwa, or Mannum, in that time – not really the same… I think I was the only one excited though - it's all normal for everyone else.

We went to see Pravčická Brána, in the north of the country, which is a natural stone bridge with views across the country.  Once again the trip getting there and back was just as interesting as being there.  Amazing, beautiful countryside.  The hike up the mountain was fun – about 1.5hours to get up.  When we got to the top the views were magnificent.  My pictures really don't do justice to the views or the landscape:

Hřensko is the town that we set off from.  A tiny little touristy town which caters for all the German tourists.  You can buy anything from a jesus statue to bras & underwear in the Vietnamese stalls that line the main thoroughfare.

I need to steal some photos from my friends as I never have any photos with me in them!
