Where I stayed
I can't believe it. I said I would never do it again. But, I did. I got on a friggin' horse. We went for a two-hour ride inside Many Glacier- the Northeast area of Glacier park.
The ride was just enough for all of us. We were all glad that we were unable to get the half-day ride we were trying to book. The scenery was great, but we couldn't take pictures because we were moving.
It was a really long day of driving to and from the park. I was so exhausted in the afternoon that I skipped the afternoon hike and took a snooze in the Many Glacier Hotel lobby. The views were spectacular overlooking the lake.
Overall, Glacier was just beautiful. If we had more time a backpacking excursion would be ideal here (When I get over my fear of the bears of course).
Tomorrow morning, we head off for a 7 hour drive to the West Yellowstone KOA. This one has a shower, bathroom and kitchen in it....hoping for better internet. the KOA's haven't had great internet. Also hoping our phones work. They didn't work up here in Glacier....actually, that's a good thing, right?
