Worst: Not being able to go to the Cowboy Diner- the reason we stayed in Bend. It ended up being 75 miles away
Unexpected: Walking in to a hotel room that someone is already staying in
Today was a decent day. We took it pretty easy. I let the girls sleep until 9. We went to Crater Lake National Park. It was really cool. The lake was once a huge mountain volcano that erupted with such great force about 7 thousand years ago, that it crumbled into itself and left a giant hole. Many many years later, water filled the hole and it became the deepest lake in the US. The eruptions thought to be the biggest in history for our continent.
After the park, we drove to Bend to our hotel. Nice hotel once we go the right room. The clerk sent us to a room that already had someone Else's stuff in it.
We had enough time to go see Twilight. Kelly was so happy and just loved the movie.
We went to The Black Bear Diner next to our hotel. I had the best ribs ever and Grace said that the Mac and Cheese was as good as Fridays.
