We went on a helicopter ride to one of the glaciers in Juneau, the Meldenhall. It was fabulous and I was scared as I was in the front and could see everything (great once I relaxed) and so took lots of pics to settle my nerves.

It was cloudy and raining, good weather for glaical viewing as it highlights the blue colours apparently.

We had 30minutes on the glacier with guides and about 10 other people. We loved it and after returning to the base, came back to the ship for lunch, then hit the shops and bought a few souveniers.

We were both very excited with this trip and learnt a lot about the glacier, it moves about a 1.5 feet per day, so it looks still but is actually quite dynamic.

Tomorrow we arrive in Skagway, out last port until we get to Whittier.

Forgive my spelling errors, this pc is so slow I am not wasting time with checking entries.
2 pics for your pleasure.
