After around 24 hours of travel (with very little sleep), Matthew and I made it home!  Timewise, we  arrived in Vancouver B.C. before we left Bangkok.  As you can imagine, we are both exhausted. Imagine sitting in a cramped "economy" seat next to the window for 12 hours.  (and this was after a 3 hour flight to Hong Kong with a  4 hour layover ....I envy those who can sleep on a plane; I sometimes get fitful cat naps.)
Sitting next to the window may sound nice, but your two seat partners must move out of the way every time you want to get up.
I will write a little more later when I have rested and can think more clearly.  : )
