The weather in Anguilla was quite windy but despite that we had an amazing time. Think stunning beaches with flour-soft sand and you've nailed Anguilla. We rented a car and Gordon and John (Gordon's Dad) were lovely and not only put us up for two nights but also looked after us and took us to dinner.
We did the circular route round the top of the island which was quieter and had more deserted beaches. The wind from the North meant that we eventually headed to the South-West of the island. We rocked up at Rendez-Vous beach - stunning - and stumbled on Dune Preserve bar for lunch.
Dinner with Gordon and John that night for mouth watering steaks at the FerryBoat Inn (FBI). In the morning we walked around to Benzies bay (YAY!) and made it down the path to see the ruins on Gordon's land. That afternoon we hung out at Meads bay which is as stunning as Rendez-Vous.
Anguilla ended with a ferry back to St Maarten. We thought that was the end of it but somehow ended drinking and eating ribs at the Lady C in St Maarten. Finally hit the sack to catch our flight to LA!
We can't get over how beautiful Rendez-Vous beach is. :)

Wow... lovely pics. Looks like you're having a great time. Hope you've been enjoying LA.
There is a remakable similiarity between Gordon and Dean ... does Gordon have the same size foot .... did he live in London in 1977 .... did he work on Central Heating Systems ....Home at last!!!!
You too can retire to Anguilla.
Pictures of you both are cheering me up :)
So glad you are having the time of your lives, you really really deserve it after all you hard work planning it down to the finest detail! It has all paid off!
Love you both loads and Scott can't wait for you to repay the favour of redecorating his toilet when you are home!
