we are sitting in a internet cafe here in perth, and the weather is scorching today, its 40 deg c, or 104 deg f, even the breeze is so hot, so we thought we might as well take this opportunity to let u know more of what weve been doing. ysterday we spent a long lazy day at the beach reading our books and just chilling out. Kay - dean wanted me to tell you that he actually finished his first book, all by himself. he enjoyed it so much he is thinking about getting another!!!
time was running out in our hostel an we decided we needed to find somewhere else to live. after ringing round a few real estate agencies we found a promising apartment in cottesloe, a 5 minute walk from where we are now.
we met the woman yesterday - (22 March) and the apatment was just what we were looking for, a large open plan living kitchen and dining room with table and chairs, lovely furniture, all appliancies etc and a lovely en-suite bathroom, all for an affordable price. but the best bit being that it is on the beach front with sea views!
unfortunately there was another man interested and we were waiting anxiously for the woman to ring and let us know if we were successful or not, luckily WE GOT IT!!!!!
so on friday (25 March) we move into the lovely apartment and out of the not so lovely hostel.
hopefully tomorrow were going to go into fremantle and wonder round the markets, fishing harbour and maybe take a tour round the fremantle prison.
