Cathay Pacific Flight CX

After stopping at the Tick Tock diner for a disappointing breakfast, we packed up and headed to JFK. We've flown internationally from JFK on many of our trips and we like to take the LIRR to Jamaica station and pick up the JFK air rail from there for a quick and relatively inexpensive ride to the airport. We got to JFK early in order to tie all loose ends before leaving.  Said goodbye to Amy’s mom, resolved issues with our Bloomington apartment, and created the new voice mail message as our plan was put on hold.

Our flight to Hong Kong was on Cathay Pacific.  I have heard good things and would have to agree with everything.  The seats were very comfortable, the meals were great (especially the mid-flight ramen noodles that were passed around), and the service was fantastic.  The entertainment was good as well as I was able to watch Due Date and Amy ran through 3 movies using the personal  screen.  Unfortunately, we were too wound up to sleep much so by the time we landed 16 hours later we were quite groggy.
