Back in Phoenix Again

With our flight leaving a little after 1 PM, we decided to arise early to head to the Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix. What a wonderful collection of cacti, succulents desert animals and plants. With Christmas approaching, the staff has the gardens decorated and illuminated for the holidays, when they open them evenings to dinner, music and nature talks. Walking through the gardens, I could not help but comparing with our little Nature Coast gardens...boy do we have so much to do! In any case, the gardeners in Phoenix have a lot to be proud of with their Botanical Gardens.
