sundays for me have always been about lazing and doing appropriate 'sunday' activities, and today was no exception to the rule.

nice little lie in followed by the usual yummy breakfast, then proceeded to laze about the place all day, chatting to darren, an american who is here for a couple of months before he moves to montenegro with his very pretty russian wife.

adem popped out and got us some fruit shakes, and i had a little nap.

we had been told about this huge sunday market here, so decided to check it out,and it was huge, we worked out that we walked about 4/5 km just looking at stalls.

the market is so busy, filled mainly with thai people. i wanted to take some photo's, but i literally did not have the space to reach into my bag and get it. all along the market there were people performing music, mainly blind people trying to raise some funds.

lots and lots of food stalls that i wanted to eat from, but as i am flying tomorrow i didn't want to risk getting the shits!

the owner of the guesthouse we are staying in always wears these really adorable tshirts with elephants on, so i decided that i wanted to get one too, that was my mission for the day, so after not finding one that was perfect in the market i was getting frustrated. i am picky about tshirts, they have to have a v neck as anything else just looks frumpy on me. not sure why, so after the epic market i made adem trudge all the way to the night bazaar which was blissfully empty as everyone was at the sunday walking street market, long story short i never did find my vneck baggy cute elephant tshirt, but i did get a round neck one, thing i'm going to attempt to be creative and make it into some kind of halterneck?

we then thought, great, we are close to our favourite restuarant here, walked to it...closed.

so walked back through the night bazaar looking for a place to eat, everything closed.

we eventually came across one open place and thankfully sank into the cool air and ate really nice pizza and brownies with custard, all very traditional thai dishes of course.

really don't want to leave this place tomorrow!
