A little Prague in minature, so our guidebook told us, and OK, so its got a castle on a hill, and small, quaint streets that would amaze most visitors, but where are the REAL people? Everything is a restaurant or hotel or penzion or souvenir shop, and it looks really, really cute, but lacks any real emotion or feeling.

We are also staying at what was labelled an idyllic campsite on the banks of he Vltava, and it is as idyllic as you can imagine when there are about 300 tents, mainly Czech blokes, and a big beer hall selling pints of Kozel for 15Kc - about 35 pence. Still, it is next to a nice, flowing river that fortunately has not burst its banks unlike other rivers in Central and Eastern Europe.

Still, its well worth a side-trip if you are in this neck of the woods, as the place is about as picturesque as anywhere we have ever been and you could take photo after photo of the cute buildings clinging to the narrow, windy, cobbled streets. The castle is fabulous, especially when the sun is shining and the sky is blue, as it is today.

Right, done 2 entries today, and as its 12:30 its about time to get the first beer of the day!
