13 April
Well, it was a little like a dream; I was on the plane to Egypt. The plane was a 777-200 with a 2-5-2 (seating plan) with us on the right hand window side. Alex and I (sitting) in front with Janine and Mikayla behind us.
I could not believe that I was finally getting there, with only a night stop-over in Seoul or correctly Incheon.
I was nervous at the airport, all that luggage and stuff. Will have to settle down and get back into the swing of things. Also need to relax. We were lucky to get a ride to the Airport by our good friend, Pete. He stayed with us and helped the time pass.
14 April
We spent the morning and early afternoon, until 2:00pm in Incheon. Looking around, there was not much to do part from mucking around the hotel and relaxing after the long flight from Auckland. The Hyatt was a nice hotel with a pool, sauna, and spa area. Mikayla, Alex, and I went for a swim. After that, Alex and I had sauna, spa, and bath in the communal bath area. It was something different of Alex as he has never been in a communal area like that. I found it nice and relaxing and it enabled me to forget work. While the Hyatt as a good hotel I did find the bed very hard.
The airport is impressive (as you would expect being the major hub of Korean Airlines). After another airport wait it was onto the plane and off to Cairo.
