No pictures for this entry -- darn.  We made it to Taipei, Taiwan, and we are seeing a different terminal than when we passed through the last time.  As we were headed to Hanoi, waiting about five hours in Taipei, the terminal was nice, but . . .

This International Terminal is very modern with lots of little shops to lure us to spend whatever $$$ we might have left.  We resisted the temptations, buying only a bottle of water that was bottled in Canada.  Go figure.

My phone needed charging so I would be able to plug in music while we jetted across the Pacific but, alas, the chargers were not packed in the backpack.  Besides, we were wondering why there were no charging stations like there are at the SLC airport.  And, then . . . we happened upon the coolest charging area I have ever seen.  A room with computers and iPads to use -- FREE of charge -- and an area that was equipped with tiny lockers with chargers for every phone on the market.  Find the charger that fits your phone, close the door, lock it, and keep the key on your wrist.  Cool.  Charged my phone for FREE!  And, while it was charging, I received a text message from my hair dresser back in SLC, needing to change my appointment.  Cool.  However, not cool enough that I could send a text back to her from Taipei.  Oh well.  It will wait until San Francisco.

We boarded the airplane around 11 p.m., taking off before midnight.  Whereas, we missed an entire Monday coming to Vietnam, we will repeat Wednesday going home.  Weird how that works, crossing the International Dateline.

"Off we go, into the wild blue yonder . . . ."  Next stop.  The City by the Bay!  My favorite city that we will not have time to see -- just sleep.
