Yeah, I know...This blog is a little bit late and some of you have been waiting for the pictures and haven't heard from me in awhile. I guess Im over the newness of being here and have developed my own life over here and I stay pretty busy. School and fitness keep me quite occupied during the week, and Im always busy doing things in the city on the weekends. Time flies by. I have already been here over 5 months and am almost halfway done with my contract. Its going to be great getting to see some of you again and catching up on things. Share stories with you, and see how things have changed. Some of you are stupid and I hate you...Kidding!

Well this is the third and final blog to my Christmas vacation I had going all over Java Island. These pictures are the best I think, just because the places I went on the end of my trip were amazing(like me). I really got to experience so much of Indonesia during that week and see so many things and visit so many places.

Borobudur is a world famous Buddhist temple, and was once one of the 7 wonders of the world. Some of you might not know much about it, but you have probably seen pictures of it somewhere. It was such an amazing site, I cant explain it and the pictures just dont do justice. Seeing this place and then Prambanan the next day, really showed me how powerful humankind can be when we work together towards achieving or creating something. The temples are so incredible and took so long to build and took so many people to do it.

Borobudur is a massive temple just hiding in the hills in the middle of Java. You drive and you drive and then at some point you see the top of it and you get excited. Its surrounded by a lot of trees so you cant see it until you get into the park. Then you walk up towards it and you cant believe how massive it is. The lighting was pretty bad that day so I didn't get a lot of real quality pictures, but I did the best I could with what I had to work with. If you are more interested in it or dont know much about Borobudur or Prambanan, you should deffo google it and do some quick research. Or if you dont care, then you can shut up and not be my friend anymore...Kidding!

Prambanan is a series of Hindu temples, also located in Central Java, about an hour or two from Borobudur. I enjoyed Prambanan more than Borobudur, but I was saddened by it as well. Much of the temples were destroyed by a massive earthquake that struck Jogja in mid 2006. You can see in some of the pics all the smaller temples surrounding the main ones. They are just a mess of stones blocks laying around in piles. They are in a rebuilding phase right now that is going to take a long time and they will probably never be back to how they were. The large temples were fixed for the most part. The height of these temples was impressive, and even more was the detail and artwork of the stone. Once again, I really cant put into words what its like to see this place and the pictures only tell so much.

There is a part of me that is fascinated with Buddhist and Hindu culture. No better place than Indonesia to be able to witness it and be around it. Im really looking forward to Bali, which is primarily Hindu. The culture there and the art is incredible I hear. Im actually leaving Saturday morning for there and will be there a week. Im very excited. Its all people talk about here and its been ranked by some as the number one island in the world. Of course that's only opinion, but I'll be able to see for myself. It should be a great photo opportunity for me and Im going to be able to do some things I have always wanted to do. I even found a place where I can swim with a dolphin...Hopefully that works out and I have pics to prove it.

I have to make this one short. Its late here and I have a morning class and then Im done for the week and off to Bali. I cant wait to write some blogs about it and share my experiences with everyone back home. I hope all is well and everyone is keepin it real, cuz if you aint, you better change your ways. I keep my pimp hand strong out here and you dont wanna see what I can do with it. Oh yeah and by the way, my game on the basketball court is getting redonkulous, so if anybody wants a piece when I get back, feel free to make a reservation. You'll be the next contestant on "Catch A Beat Down".

Peace Out!
