Day 2 started with an early breakfast - Dawn tried her first full Irish breakfast which was like an English breakfast but had white pudding.  Made our way over the Wicklow Mountains - just a short drive out of Dublin these mountains are extremely picturesque and the road was amazingly quiet hardly a car to be seen.   We continued our tour with a  stop at Glendalough to visit St Kevin's Monastic Ruins, very ruined!!  Then on to Waterford via Hollywood.  Really interesting tour through the Waterford Crystal Factory where we watched the process of producing the world famous Waterford Crystal from start to finish.

From Waterford we drove to Cobh, this town is famous because its the last port of call for the RMS Titanic to take on passengers before setting off across the Atlantic.    We  visited the original White Star offices and took the Titanic Tour which was a very informative and enjoyable tour where we took on the personas of two of the original passengers who embarked on the Titanic.  Unfortunately Dawn didn't survive!!!

Next stop was Cork - checked into the B & B which turned out to be pretty good - the lady who ran it was a little ga ga but extremely nice as she upgraded us to an apartment at no extra charge, then out for a drink!  Found Cork very different from Dublin, it was very quiet with not much going on but we managed to enjoy it.  Had a nice meal in the Oliver Plunkett and Dawn had another Guinness.
