Ko Lanta
Ko Lanta was a beautiful quiet place in comparison to Phi Phi, we managed to negotiate a resort hotel which cost us less than £14 a night for both of us, with air con and a swimming pool.
Needless to say i made full use of the swimming pool after all it was boiling hot and it was the first one i had seen in Asia. Whilst i chilled out Andy decided to rent a moped to try them out on a quiet Island before we rented one in a busy place he had a good time but he got a telling off from me for not wearing a helmet! You don't buy petrol for the mopeds from petrol stations you buy it from little stalls on the side of the roads.
The hotel was nice it had an onsite restaurant and bar and was a place that we could just recharge our batteries before picking up and traveling again.
