Coral Coast
After arriving back from the island hopping we stayed in Nadi for a couple of days, just chilling out on the beach and around the pool. I (Andy) wanted to go and see more of the main island so we caught the coral sun express( a luxury coach) to the coral coast. Where we had booked a flash packer hostel called mango bay, the accommodation here was very good we had our own Bure again, just meters from the beach. The only thing that was lacking here is that the activities on offer only ran on certain days, so the waterfall trek that we wanted to do (a one of the reasons for stopping here) we couldn't do, which was very annoying.
We still enjoyed playing with the hermit crabs and walking along the beach. I (Andy) also took out one of the sea kayaks they had as they were free and went along the coast line on my own for about an hour, this was very peaceful and relaxing until I realised I had gone to far and had to fight the current for some of the way back, but all good fun and good exercise.
The bure we stayed in was beautiful it had a 4 poster bed in in...very luxurious for us travelers. The shower was private as well but it was outside, that was interesting because most of the time we were at mango bay it rained so you had to have a hot shower whilst it was raining, it was very strange.
When the rain cleared up we managed to get a few walks along the beach in to take some beautiful pictures.
In the evenings the whole place was taken over by frogs and toads, they were everywhere you walked
On the second evening while eating our dinner, Dawn screamed "get that off of me" thinking there was a large bug or moth on her back, it actually turned out to be a baby gecko, so cute. after discovering his she was not hat fussed and let it run up and down her arm for a couple of minutes before putting it a nearby tree.
