We are in Hungary :=)

We arrived safely last night shortly after 8 pm! It was raining quiet hard and since the sun had already set - we could not see much.
Our drive to the Moscow airport was unbelievably long. We left the hotel at 4:30 pm (4 hours before our flight). Our taxi driver - who did not speak a word of English drove us through the centre of Moscow during rush hour. We were told that the trip would take 1 hour. Both David and I were getting very nervous when we did not see an airport sign or a plane in the sky after being in the taxi for 1.5 hours. We were both concerned about the exist process - esp. after what we experienced crossing boarders on the Trans-Mongolian.
The Moscow airport is very small (for a city of 9 million) and confusing
The flight from Moscow was a bit rough. There was lot so turbulance - we were happy when the food cart came along with drinks and a yummy sandwich for a snack.
When we arrived in Hungary (we weren't hungary when we got to Hungary thanks to the sandwich)- a couple from the Hostal was at the airport to greet us. We instantly sensed a change. Hungary is full of friendly, outgoing, welcoming people - unlike Russia - which was a grind and we got the message that they don't want you to visit. :( We are staying at a 4 star hostel (in our opinion). We have a wonderful large, double sized bed, in a large room. The hostel is small and warm. The person who runs it gave us a map and told us where we could find a bank machine and a store to get a little snack. Then he surprised us with a bottle of wine as a welcoming gift.
Today we are going to relax and arrange our trip to visit my relatives (V) in North Eastern Hungary on Sunday. We are contemplating a 2 week vacation in the Greek Island instead of zooming through several Eastern European countries before we fly home in 3 weeks. We think coming home relaxed and tanned would be best.
