Today I arrived in Berlin. The train ride went well , but I woke up at 4 am, just in time for dinner back at home. Sure enough I did not go back to sleep afterwards. I arrived in Berlin to be greeted by Martin and his mother. He had their style of an American breakfast with eggs and bread. It was actually really good. I loved to have my first full size meal that didn't cost me 15 Euros! This afternoon we went to a watch tower that was used during the Cold War Era. We also met with some of Martin's neighbors and friends and he showed me the town of Hennigsdorf. There are so many trees here! It's amazing, it puts "Chico, the city of trees" to shame! It rained off and on today but never got too cold, this is the first time in 3 months that I have seen rain. Over the past two days I think I'm running on 10 hours of sleep, but it's the experience of a life time so I keep on plugging ahead.
