You creepy weirdos really seem to like the posts where we encounter something dangerous, so this post should be plenty popular. I'm sorry I called you all creepy weirdos. You're not. I didn't mean that. You're just concerned for our safety and you're excited that we lived through these encounters and are now writing about them, safely and soundly from the comfort of our own home, right? Yeah, that's right.

Anyway, saw some sharks today. No big deal. I was at work this morning and a bunch of them were swimming out front in of the motel, pretty close to shore. There have been lots of dolphin sightings from the motel lately and so naturally I assumed that's what these were too. But dolphins are grey, bob up and down in the water as they swim and either frolic around with each other or swim straight on past. What Bill and Lee and I saw this morning had white fins, and were not bobbing or frolicking around but rather circling for a while before heading off down the beach. Pretty sure they were sharks. I took lots of pictures but only a few of them turned out alright.

So, sharks. On an unrelated note, I probably won't be going to the beach anymore.
