We made the trip down to Krakow and just arrived this afternoon. The main square is an incredible sight and the weather does not fail to match the very beauty around us. Note to self, remember to enjoy a meal while engaging the atmosphere of music, energy, and history that surrounds us. Glad to be out of Amsterdam, which leant towards the side of disappointment. Although there is a lot to see I felt as though it was a bit of a tourist trap. Expensive too...We just signed into our hotel in Krakow and paid far less for much more. Much, much more. The sun greeted us with a grand entrance and the main market square is one I will not forget. Horse-drawn carriages ride through and there isn't a car in site. Anyways, we're off to see Auschwitz and the Salt mines during our stay and they should be good. Next stop is Warsaw for a night before we head to Zamosc for a family "reunion." The wifi situation is much better here. Should be able to update!
