We've just arrived back in Jo'burg yesterday after spending some in Bloemfontein with my cousin Wesley. Before that we moved on from the Champagne Valley area in the Drakes and went onto Mont Aux Sources where we spent 4 days. We stayed in a fab B&B in the Champagne Valley - beautiful mountain views and our own verandah area to braai on. We had a great day out white water rafting - we fell in a lot! We also bumped into Tanya Cooper from work in the middle of nowhere! Unfortunately we stopped at this place in
Winterton for a bite to eat and 3 hours later I was ill, so that meant I lost a day & 1\2 in bed. We managed to get some hiking done but not as much as i/we would have liked. Our big ambition while we were in the area was to see the Ampitheatre but due to poor weather conditions we where unable to, anyways this will be a good excuse to come back again.
We are back in Joburg now for a few days over Christmas visiting family and then it is off to Cape Town for New Year.
