After another sunrise, this one over Fogg Dam we had a nice breakfast back at the B&B we are staying at and then headed back to the Dam to do the 2 walks there. When we arrived at the start of both walks we found they were closed as due to the large and late wet season they were partially under water.

We decided then to go to Harrison Dam. The 4wd track went up to the wall and then follows it around the back and up to the end of the dam where you can walk along the top. Well thats what they say. We got to the wall and the track disappeared into long reeds and deep mud. Michelle wanted to continue on but I decided we should try a different route which just wasted 30mins and finished nowhere where we wanted.

After lunch back in the homestead we went for a walk around the border of the property. About half way around we thought it would have been a good idea to have asked how big the property was as it ended taking us about 2hrs. Wasn't a bad walk as there was enough to keep us happy with a lot of frogs, dragonflies and a few lizards hiding at the top of the trees.

On our return it was ice-block time and then another cruise up and down the dam wall to find good spots for coming back tonight after our BBQ.

Tonight’s BBQ was “sensational” (as quoted from M.Rower Homescience teacher and cooking expert.) which I humbly accepted.

It turned out to be a very successful night trip with 8 barking owls, 2 possums, nightjar, over 10 bush stone curlews and a lot of frogs.
