After returning home fairly late from the night before, I made a tenative start to the morning. The plan was to make it back to Lac Superieur in the shortest possible time and on a relatively tight budget. From there I would look for work, find a place to live, trade my van for a smaller vehicle all while learning the french language. It was a lot to do and plenty more hard times to come I was sure of it, but i was ready for the challenge.
I continued on from Halifax, not really stopping for long in any one place just enough time to eat, sleep and refuel. I pushed myself through the later stages of the afternoon looking for a realtively quiet and legal area to park the RV for the night driving through many small towns, eventually settling in for the night at Hartland.
I parked my RV in a carpark near a river, which was convieniently located near a gas station and supermarket. The traffic didn't appear to be too heavy, although it was an area where trucks frequented. A few earplugs was well worth the free night in this area, a tranquil setting alongside the river side. As I tried to explore the area, for washrooms etc, Newfie decided that it was a chance to explore too. This wasn't such a good idea and I had to keep a watchful eye out for her. To my dismay the only thing lacking in this newly discovered campground (apart from the electricity) was the washrooms. Still it was a place to park for the night and allow me to recharge my batteries.
Total kms travelled for the day 550kms
