Barranco is the suburb just south of Miraflores (Lima).
One the way to Barranco we returned to the Indian markets
on Avenida Arequipa and bought a CD of Inca Folk Music.

The bus was #29 to Barranco and cost 1 Nuevo Sole (50 cents).
We had to stop at Avenida Pedro de Osma to see the museum
called Pedro de Osma museum.
Pedro and his family had a mansion and collected
lots of art, particularly paintings of the Spanish royal family.
Charles the III (distinctive nose) was shown in a number of
oil paintings on canvas. There were many religious paintings
and scupltures as well. Two separate displays
had a collection of silver and three modern Peruvian painters
(Carrannza, Zeballos and Chavez Arroyo).

Stopped for lunch at a local grill
in the plaza on the same road.
The grill served mussels in the half shell and
calimari. The lady manageress was lively.

Back to Miraflores and the indian markets,
this time we settled on a price (75 nuevo soles) for
the baby alpaca scarf.

Cool and cloudy today. Tina got stomach cramps.
