Wind and more wind blew during the night and we slept with the air con on all night. We left at 8.00am for a big driving day of 630 kilometres! The drive was very uneventful as we continued to retrace our steps and really started to reflect on our journey and adventure. We all shared our best caravan park, worst pool, scariest moments etc of our 70 days together.
Petrol around Adelaide dropped to a much more respectable $1.45 cents a litre and filling up was a cheaper experience.
We arrived at Nhill at 4.00 pm really tired and exhausted. The lady at the caravan park was absolutely lovely and very friendly. We set up for the last time and the girls and I had a swim in the above ground pool. The water was beautiful and we made a giant whirlpool something I haven't done since I was a kid.
We decided to go out to the pub and have a last meal of the trip together before returning to reality. Emmy and I went to the local park to watch the sunset.
Update: Emmy and Chloe were unsuccessful in their grab for cash in the New Idea photo competition.
