We drove 100 kilometres to Streaky Bay to discover a fantastic coastal village set up for tourism. The centre of town although small has everything. As we checked into the caravan park the people we had met at Ceduna did as well much to the girls' excitement because they had two girls to (9 and 11).
Today was a 'down' day of just enjoying the serenity, the weather and beautiful environment. It was good because we have been on the go for almost 10 weeks. The 'beach' at the caravan park is interesting because it is very shallow for a long way out. You don't swim but lay in the water. When the tide is out you have to walk forever to reach any water at all. The girls had a great day playing with their friends and talking about things that girls of that age do. I went for a fish in the afternoon but only caught a little salmon as the water was too shallow.
Kelli cooked up a mean spaghetti bolognaise and we sampled our crabs from last night.
