The wind abated in the morning so we went for a morning walk to Fin's Cafe for a coffee. Each caravan park has their own supermarket, tour booking centres and cafes. With the wind down we were able to snorkel out the front of the beach which has much better coral and fish. The amount of fish is incredible with fish of shapes, sizes and colours. The snapper were amazing and once again followed us around. Emmy and Kelli did a great job going outside their comfort zones by venturing into the water to look at the coral. The rest of morning we spent on the beach reading, sun baking (with lots of sunscreen ), making sandcastles and of course more snorkelling.
After lunch we walked around to the shark nursery to see the baby sharks swimming in the shallow water. The walk took an hour return but was well worth it to see the sharks cruising.
The weather is about 30 degrees and wonderful. Hot enough to swim and be warm but not to be constantly sweating.
At both Exmouth and Coral Bay there have been no indigenous Australians despite no doubt being communities in the area. However, once again there are European workers everywhere.
