We left at 12.35 after loading up between showers and me completing final emails. We would have been disappointed if it wasn't raining! A long uneventful day of driving punctuated by a wonderful lemon slice at Beaufort. Emmy and Chloe watched three DVDs with headphones in and Kelli and I answered our own questions as the back seat was a response free zone.
We filled up twice with petrol during the day and barely made it into Bordertown as the car guzzled more than I thought. Sitting forward in the seat to give extra momentum worked!
Arriving at 6.30 we tried to popped the top but tiredness meant we had forgotten to turn the winder to open. With the annexe safely back in Geelong setting up was supposed to be easy!
