Port Wakefield to Port Augusta. A short drive of 200 ks up the road. The kids went DVD less in celebration. We stopped for lunch at Port Pirrie and had the best chicken salad roll ever. Port Pirrie is a beautiful old town full of history and charm. The main street looks pretty much the the way it would have in the 1860s other than the new Maccas down one end! We have christened the Navman, Siri and today I had another argument with her as she made us do two complete circles. On "giant watch" today we saw a giant coke can just outside Port Pirrie.
We arrived at Port Augusta with the temperature sitting on 26 degrees and the kids ready for a swim. We set up, right next door to a lovely couple from Highton. It's a small world.
The kids had swim number one and then we went for a fish off a jetty. Chloe became a instant fishing legend by catching a salmon. We donated it to a local family, fishing on the jetty amazed at Chloe's luck.
